LIGHT SNOW: Under An Inch Expected In Southern Iowa

Skies will remain mainly cloudy tonight across central Iowa. It is still cold as we'll fall back to the single digits by Thursday morning. Thursday will remain quiet and uneventful. Skies will be mostly cloudy and temperatures will reach the 20s.

Friday will be a bit messy as a mix of rain, snow and freezing rain works into the state. Roads will be slick, especially Friday night. At this point, most of the precipitation should arrive shortly after noon and continue into the evening.
