SUPREME COURT: Chief Justice To Address Lawmakers

After Tuesday’s Condition of the State address, the Chief Justice of the Iowa Supreme Court will address lawmakers next.

Mark Cady will speak in the House chamber at 10 a.m. Wednesday to talk about the progress the judicial branch has made in the last year.

The speech will focus on its priorities of protecting Iowa’s children, providing full-time access to justice and providing faster and less costly resolutions of legal disputes.

Cady will also talk about the branch’s goals for the year ahead.
