TEMPS FALLING: Wind To Die Down Tonight

A Winter Weather Advisory for strong winds and blowing snow is in effect for parts of northern and eastern Iowa until 6 PM. A Wind Advisory is in effect for the rest of the state until 6 PM.

The wind will start to die down this evening. The temperatures will continue to fall as a cold front finally moves all the way through the state.

It will be mostly cloudy tonight with a low of 9. Tomorrow will not be as windy and we will see highs in the upper 20s.

Another chance for light snow will sweep through the state Thursday and again on Saturday. The wind will also be a factor Thursday night and early Friday. Blowing snow could be impacting travel at that time.
