IOWA SCHOOLS: Condition Of Education Report

The latest Condition of Education report shows Iowa students are making improvements.

It shows at 89.3-percent, Iowa is leading the nation in four-year graduation rates. That’s up about one percentage point from 2011.

The report found Iowa students had an average ACT score of 22.1. That’s 1.2-percent above the national average.

Though Iowa is ranked 26th nationally in teacher pay, the average teaching salary is increased about $700 coming in at nearly $51,000.
