COLD CASE: Newton Man Arrested For 1997 Shooting

A Newton man is facing charges in Missouri for allegedly shooting a man 16 years ago.

Ollie James III, 39, was arrested last week and charged with felony assault in Randolph County, Missouri.

Police there say James, who lists a Newton address, shot and injured Richard Greiner in December, 1997.

Authorities say new information lead to an arrest last week.

James is being held on a $100,000 bond.
