WINTER WEARY: Iowans Ready For Spring

Oh what a difference a day can make.

On Sunday we saw temperatures in the mid 50's. By Monday evening, the warm sunshine was replaced with cold air and blowing snow - a chilly reminder of reality.

"Oh yeah. Shorts and capris and then sweaters and coats," says Sarah Elsworth of Des Moines as she tried to keep warm while pumping gas, "it's miserable."

On a positive note, spring is just two months away.
