ROBBERY CASE: Stabbing, Shooting Threats Made

Des Moines police are investigating a robbery at a Family Dollar store on the city’s south side Sunday night.

Police say a man entered the store at 200 Army Post Road around 9:00 p.m., demanded money and made threats toward two employees. The suspect allegedly threatened to stab one employee and shoot the other.

The man was able to get away with $183.

Police say he didn’t display a weapon during the robbery.
