A bill that focuses on traffic cameras is making its way through the Statehouse.

The House transportation committee approved legislation that would put a cap of $75 on speed and red light camera fines, Thursday.

Friday, a legislative panel will review stricter rules on the cameras proposed by the Department of Transportation.

The rules would regulate the use of the devices across the state. The administrative rules review committee meets just after 11 a.m.
