Three children were uninjured after shots were fired into the bedroom they were sleeping in Sunday night.

It happened at a home in the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Junior Parkway.

The homeowners say three kids, ages one, six and eight, were asleep in the room when several shots were fired into it.

Ten bullets holes could be seen on the side of the Des Moines home. Police also found shell casings outside. They believe the shooting may be gang related.
