Two accused burglars were caught using a not so stealthy method.

Ottumwa police found a skid loader Wednesday morning at an apartment building on Lincoln Street that had been reported missing.

Police discovered that the skid loader had been stolen to use in a burglary on North Davis Street.

Officers say the men used the skid loader to move several car transmissions to a building on North Marion Street.

Police arrested 36-year-old Todd Sexton and 25-year-old Kyle Davis.

Both men are charged with burglary, theft and conspiracy.  They’re being held in the Wapello County Jail.
