SNOW NORTH TONIGHT: Light Snow Wednesday

Clouds are increasing across the state tonight. Light snow and flurries are possible this evening in far northern Iowa. The snow will drop south across Central Iowa early on Wednesday morning. Roads may be slick during the morning commute.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect in far northern and northeastern Iowa from 6 PM Tuesday through 6 AM Wednesday. The highest totals of 3 to 5" will fall in the far northeast part of the state.

Wednesday skies will remain cloudy with a chance of light snow and flurries in Central Iowa. Snowfall amounts will range from a dusting to 2".

Highs will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s by this weekend, with a chance of a rain-  snow mix on Friday. We will reach the 50s by Monday.
