Sioux City police have made an arrest in connection to three attempted abductions.

Police say 29-year-old Joey Alberts of Sioux City pretended to be a police officer and tried to get kids into his vehicle.

He’s charged with three counts of impersonating a police officer, three counts of enticing a child and two counts of indecent contact with a child.

The most recent alleged incident happened in October.

Police say Alberts tried to lure an 11 and 13-year-old girl into his SUV.
