COLDER WEEKEND: Snow on Monday

This is an archived article and the information in the article may be outdated. Please look at the time stamp on the story to see when it was last updated.

Overnight temperatures will drop to the teens through early Sunday.

Even with plenty of sunshine on Sunday, highs will only be in the low-30s for much of the state. Unfortunately the cold air will not leave with the weekend, as 30-degree temps are expected into the middle of the week.

Our next chance of precipitation will be some snow on Monday. A weak disturbance will drop some light slushy snow during the mid-day on Monday. A lot of snow will melt as it falls and most accumulations will occur in grassy areas. It will quickly melt as temperatures will be back above freezing by Tuesday afternoon.
