WARNING — Video contains graphic hand gesture

TAMPA, Fla. – We have all experienced the joy of the “road rage” drivers riding your bumper.

But one Florida driver got a taste of instant karma after once such act.

A woman, who goes by “Florida Driver” on YouTube, posted this video of the three-minute tailgating cruise.

“After about a minute and me shaking my head, I pulled out my phone and started recording,” she wrote on YouTube.” I couldn’t move over because there were trucks in the right lane and I sure as heck wasn’t going to speed on a rainy day with the roads being as slick as they were. I was turning left in about a half-mile when this happened.”

And “Florida Driver” was right about the road conditions.

She said just after the man in the pickup truck changed lanes and sped past her, he lost control, fish-tailed and spun out in the opposite median.

Why is the idiot driving in the passing lane? Common courtesy would have probably have prevented the whole thing.

Maybe if you read the article and watched the video closer. It shows a truck she passed while she was in the passing lane. And she was coming up on her left turn. Then maybe you wouldn’t comment like an idiot.

I have to agree. If the road conditions are as bad as stated…Why the heck are you driving one handed and being distracted by recording this? I hope the police track down the recording driver and cites her for distracted driving and using an electronic device while driving.

Agree with comments here. She was being an equally antagonistic and unsafe driver recording this guy and in general escalated the whole thing and caused the accident because of it. That said, if she had a clear opportunity to get over and didn’t, this guy would have passed her on the right. I don’t think she was intentionally going slow. It’s clear in the video she was passing people. Her fault is simply being a hippocrite and being part of the problem, not the solution, to antagonistic unsafe driving and road rage.

This woman caused this accident. She intentionally drive in the fast lane for at least 3 miles by her own admission, and whether she says she couldn’t get over or not, her video shows her passing only one truck. She had plenty of room to get over, she knew this guy wanted to pass her, and whether even if she is telling the truth about eventually needing to turn, there was no reason for her to be in the left lane for as long as she was unless she was antagonizing this guy. This woman should have her license revoked!

I’m amazed at the people who will drive so slow in the passing lane it takes them 3 minutes to pass a semi. Either speed up and get past them, or slow down and get behind them, you endanger yourself and the other drivers by hanging out in the “no zone” and typically when you see people doing it, they slowed down on purpose just to make people mad.

The woman baited the poor guy into this accident. She instigated the situation by driving 47 mph in the Passing Lane! She picked out this poor man to push his buttons and try to cause him problems! She was clearly breaking the passing lane law. She clearly cannot drive a motor vehicle properly and should not have a drivers license. When a bicycle rides up behind you on the sidewalk do you continue to walk in his way? This man is the victim here. Lady, if you can’t drive your car properly you shouldn’t be on the road. Do us all a favor and buy a bicycle or walk. Quit subjecting those of us living in a competitive society to your utter incompetence and evil instigating passive aggressiveness

Did anyone notice the recorder had a utility/road worker/EMS reflective vest in her vehicle? That means she either works for a company, city, county, state or EMS involving being out in traffic. The simple fact she has a reflective protective garment in her vehicle shows she knew better and was breaking the law and endangering the public with her driving actions. What if instead of spinning off the road he spun into the path of a school bus? I hope law enforcement tracts her down.

I DO NOT FEEL BAD, The guy is an idiot….HOWEVER!! She too should be cited for her criminal traffic infractions. To deliberately SPEED up and endanger the lives of any oncomming vehicles was negligent and could have resulted in a t/c that could have ended in multiple fatalities. Her decision to speed up was in itself a poor and negligent decision. What she should have done, was slow down and allow the idiot to pass, not endanger the lives of any approaching vehicles in the S.B lane.
