ARENA FOOTBALL: Barnstormers fall to Sharks

DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers dug themselves a 20 point hole, rallied to take a 3rd quarter lead only to eventually lose by 20, 68-48 to Jacksonville.

Iowa got off to a dreadful start, trailing 27-7 out of the gates.  Marco Thomas came up with some big touchdown catches, Iowa took the lead 48-46.  But the Barnstormers were outscored 22-0 to end the game.

To make matters worse, both of Iowa's QB's were injured.  Starter Carson Coffman and backup Brian Reader both went down, their status' are unknown for next week.

Iowa falls to 4-4 overall and hosts undefeated Cleveland next week.
