A Tama County jury has found a woman accused of killing her daughter-in-law guilty and now her son is being charged in the crime as well.

Fifty-seven-year-old Ginger Jefferson was convicted of first degree murder Tuesday.

Police say Jefferson killed her son’s wife, 32-year-old Kerry O’Clair Jefferson. She was found dead inside her home in Tama, last September.

Her sentencing is scheduled for July 14th. She faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Jefferson’s son is now charged in helping his mother kill O’Clair Jefferson. The Tama Police Department arrested Dustin Jefferson Tuesday afternoon. He’s charged with first degree murder.

His first court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday morning at 9:30.

How sad we do not have the death penalty for both of these losers. Frankly, I can see my daughter’s mother-in-law trying to manipulate the same thing on my daughter.
