DES MOINES, Iowa — Members of the state Oversight Committee will be back at work this week.

Democrats have scheduled a hearing for Wednesday.

Earlier this month, the committee looked into whether millions of federal dollars were properly used to renovate the Iowa Veterans home.

This week the committee looks more into confidential settlements paid to fired state workers.

Willie if you actually look at the records and settlements being produced Culver and Vilsack were the largest offenders. Hatch will try to make somthing stick but it is the only straw he is grasping at. I am glad you found out how to do smiley faces, they bring such class to other wise useless posts.
