WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — West Des Moines police say the “overwhelming response” by the public to help identify a man wanted for using a stolen credit card has resulted in an arrest.
Forty-nine-year-old Jeffery Robinson of Ankeny was arrested Tuesday afternoon. He is charged with credit card forgery
Police released information about the crimes to the media Tuesday morning along with surveillance images of the suspect, and asked the public to help them identify the man.
Officials say without the help of the public, learning the identity of the man would have been much more difficult.
