ferguson shootingFERGUSON, Missouri — There has been another police shooting in Ferguson overnight.

The incident comes after the shooting of a teenager by a police officer in the St. Louis suburb last Saturday. That incident sparked riots and looting over the weekend.

Officials say at about 1 a.m. Wednesday, four men in ski masks armed with shotguns approached a crowd. As police arrived they heard shots firing and saw people running.  One officer chased a suspected shooter.

Police told affiliate KTVI an officer shot a man after he allegedly pointed his handgun at him.

The suspect was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Police recovered the suspect’s handgun. The officer was not injured.

In a separate shooting at around 12:20 a.m., a woman was shot in the head in a drive-by shooting on Highmont Dr. in Ferguson. She’s expected to survive. Police are looking for four to five men who were in a white sedan.

This is St Louis, so why is it news? In 2012 they had 113 murders, 199 rapes, 1778 robberies etc etc.
Little Chicago. Nothing new here. St Louis has 5 times the normal crimes most cities have, more drive bye’s than they can count. 15 or so police shootings a year. Nice place to raise a family though. Ok I wouldn’t butttttttttt…. All those peacefull people down there.
