Cause of Deaths Released for Elderly Akron Couple

LE MARS, Iowa — Plymouth County officials are releasing the autopsies in the deaths of an Akron couple.

Jonathan Neunaber is charged with first degree murder in his mother’s death. The autopsy shows 80-year-old Esther Neunaber died of blunt force trauma in her Akron home on July 9th.

Eighty-three-year-old Donald Neunaber was also found dead in the home but the autopsy shows he died of natural causes.

Jonathon Neunaber’s trial is set for December.

    guess we all find out what happen when he goes to trial. puzzling that’s for sure. how did they die around the same time when one was murdered? RIP to them. Hope he gets held accountable for at least his mom’s death.
