Gov. Branstad Takes ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

DES MOINES, Iowa -- The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge craze hit Terrace Hill Tuesday.

Gov. Terry Branstad answered the challenge from U.S. House candidate Marianette Miller-Meeks with some help from First Lady Chris Branstad.

The governor is passing the challenge along to three others: Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds, Adjutant General Tim Orr and Nebraska governor Dave Heineman.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has raised millions for Lou Gehrig’s Disease research as it has swept across the country in recent weeks.
