Severe Weather Hits Iowa, Man Struck By Lightning, Flash Floods Close Highway

lightningDENISON, Iowa–Severe weather moved into Iowa Sunday night, including a tornado that struck Crawford County around 7p.m.

The National Weather Service reports a man got hit by lightning in Denison. There is not word yet on how he is doing. Campers also got scattered from the high winds, as did tree limbs.

Flash flooding closed part of Highway 39, five miles north of Denison.
