Missing Boy Found After Wandering to Neighbor’s Farm

UPDATE: The boy was located safe. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation said he wandered to a neighbor’s farm.

ALLAMAKEE COUNTY, Iowa – Authorities are searching for a northeast Iowa boy after he went missing Monday morning.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation says a neighbor last saw Lance Palmer, 9, at 7:15 a.m. walking on a gravel road near his Waukon home in the 1800 block of Moose Road.

Lance is described as 4-feet-tall with blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and carrying a sweatshirt and book bag.

Anyone with information about Lance’s whereabouts is asked to call their local law enforcement.
