Early Voting Starts Today

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Early voting for the November elections starts today. So far 130,000 Iowans have requested those absentee ballots.

Voting officials say they expect even more in the days to come.

Voters have three options in casting their absentee ballot:

  1. Request and absentee ballot before October 31st.
    1. You can do this by filling out this form and sending it to your county auditor.
  2. Cast a ballot in-person at:
    1. Your county auditor’s office
    2. Or at satellite locations (times and locations vary from county to county)

Mail absentee ballots must be mailed no later than Monday November 3.
