Ideas to Find Foodborne Pathogens Worth $500,000

The U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is looking for breakthrough ideas on how to find foodborne pathogens. Ideas will be judged by a panel of feed safety and pathogen detection experts from FDA, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and USDA to determine finalists and select a winner or winners.

Food safety experts are asked to submit concepts to the FDA by November 9th.

The challenge has a total prize pool of $500,000.
