CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- We now know the name of the mystery server whose misery sparked a viral post online.

We first told you about this story Monday. Makenzie Schultz and her husband went out to eat Saturday night at an understaffed Cedar Rapids restaurant.

Their overworked server kept them waiting for water, appetizers, and entrees. But instead of storming out, the couple left a $100 tip for what they admit was lousy service.

Monday a Cedar Rapids reporter tracked down the lucky server. Kyle Hanson says he got a little emotional when he picked up the receipt.

“That was super unexpected and really nice, it caught me off guard. I expected…I wasn’t expecting that. I don’t know…it was a good ending to a really stressful night,” says Hanson.

The Schultz's didn't wait around to see Hanson's reaction.

Makenzie's post of the receipt on her Facebook page has been "liked" nearly two million times in 72 hours.
