WEST DES MOINES, Iowa – If you pass by the P. F. Chang’s restaurant at Jordan Creek Mall in West Des Moines Tuesday afternoon, you may see a rather large pink horse.

That’s because the Chinese restaurant chain is kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October with a fundraising campaign aiming to raise $100,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Members of the community are invited to the restaurant at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday to help paint the business’s iconic Warrior Horse statue pink. The company says over 300 horses across will be sporting the color throughout the month of October.

The store says they will donate $1 to breast cancer research for every “selfie” with the pink horse posted on Facebook, Twitter, and Intagram throughout October. The posts must include the #PaintPFChangsPink hashtag. Additionally, the company says they’ll donate $1 for every “Spicy Tuna” or “California Roll” sushi dish ordered.
