Police Want Help Identifying Bank Robbery Suspect

DES MOINES, Iowa – Des Moines police are asking for the public’s help identifying a robbery suspect.

Central Bank at 2742 Hubbell Avenue was robbed last Thursday at about 3:45 p.m.

Witnesses told police a 5’8” to 5’10” black male jumped over the counter and demanded money while wielding a screw driver.

He placed the cash in a red Iowa State backpack.
