Urbandale Machine Shed Temporarily Closing for Remodeling

URBANDALE, Iowa- Popular Iowa eatery The Machine Shed will close down temporarily starting Monday October 27th for remodeling.  The construction is expected to wrap up sometime in early November according to a Heart of America company news release.

“We are excited to thank our customers for their patronage since opening in 1991 by giving them a new look,” said the release.  The release also said the restaurant plans to remain dedicated to the American Farmer. During the closure the company encouraged diners to try one of it’s three Johnny’s Italian Steakhouses in the metro, area. also owned by Heart of America.

Heart of America Restaurants and Inns was founded in 1978 by Mike Whalen. The company will update it’s re-opening of the Urbandale Machine Shed on it’s Facebook page.
