IOWA CITY - 2 weeks after looking lackluster on both sides of the ball the Iowa Hawkeyes completely dismantled Northwestern on Saturday winning 48-7 at Kinnick Stadium.

Mark Weisman had 3 TD's while Freshman RB Akrum Wadley rushed for 106 yards in his Hawkeye debut.

QB Jake Rudock was solid, 239 yards passing and a TD.

The Hawks jumped out to a 24-0 lead and never looked back.  They even blocked a punt for a TD, courtesy of Freshman LB Ben Niemann.

Iowa is now bowl eligible, 6-2.  The Hawks hit the road next week to take on Minnesota.
