DES MOINES, Iowa -- There are plenty of politics involved when it comes to college athletics: big public universities versus small private schools, the argument over whether to pay student athletes.

This week’s Three Minutes in the Chair guest, Drake Athletics Director Sandy Hatfield Clubb, has opinions that are respected nationwide.

Clubb recently served on a panel for the Knight Commission in Washington, D.C. It makes recommendations for the future of the NCAA.

Last week, she was announced as this year's winner of the Robert D. Ray Pillar of Character Award.
