UNI Ends Stephen F. Austin’s 34 Home Game Win Streak

NACOGDOCHES, Texas — UNI stopped another lengthy sports streak Tuesday.

Ten days after ending North Dakota State’s 33 game winning streak in football, the Panther basketball team won a nationally televised morning game at Stephen F. Austin.

SFA had won 34 consecutive home games, which goes back more than 1,000 days.

UNI had six players in double figures with senior Marvin Singleton leading the way with a career-high 15 points.

UNI won in OT, 79-77.
