DES MOINES, Iowa - Century Theaters at Jordan Creek Town Center hosted a special showing of "Big Hero 6" for a group of students calling themselves the "Deaf Kids Club."

The group is made up of students from Capitol View Elementary, Hiatt Middle School and East High School.

The theater provided captioning devices so the kids could read, and they could use neck loops if they had cochlear implants.

Volunteers helped arrange the screening, and they might be the ones who enjoyed it the most, including volunteer Kelly Martin.

"I love to see the children be so excited, and get the new opportunities and experience new things. It's very meaningful to me," Martin said.
