JACKSONVILLE – The Taxslayer Bowl has turned in to a blowout.

Tennessee leads Iowa 35-7 at half.

The Volunteers scored on their first 4 possessions, and made it look easy.  Tennessee has racked up 321 total yards so far, Iowa just 153.

Jake Rudock and CJ Beathard rotated series at QB the first half with Beathard looking like the better option.  Beathard was 5/10 passing for 54 yards, Rudock just 1/5.

Mark Weisman scored Iowa’s only Td on a 3 yard run late in the 2nd quarter.
