UNI Starts Cold, Finishes Hot for Home Win Over Southern Illinois

On a frigid night in Cedar Falls, the UNI defense froze out the Southern Illinois offense, 55-39.

The Panthers got a career high-tying 24 points from Seth Tuttle, and 15 off the bench from Nate Buss.

UNI improves to 13-2 overall, 2-1 in the Valley.  get no closer as UNI eventually held an 18-point advantage at 55-37 with 3:13 left in the game.

UNI travels to Des Moines to take on the Drake Bulldogs  Saturday.
