Cyclones Win Again at Home, Bury TCU 83-66

AMES - Fred Hoiberg said TCU was much better than their 1-6 Big 12 record, in the first half Hoiberg was right.

But a big 2nd half carried Iowa State to an 83-66 win over the horned Frogs.

ISU led by just 2 at the half, but outscored TCU 48-33 in the 2nd.

Georges Niang led the way for the Cyclones with 23 points and 8 rebounds.  Monte Morris and Bryce Dejean-Jones each added 16, Dustin Hogue scored 12.

Iowa State shot 56% for the game, while holding TCU to just 40%.

The Cyclones are now 16-4 overall, 6-2 in the Big 12.  Iowa State is back in action Monday night at Kansas on Big Monday.
