Man Wanted on Robbery Charges Surrenders to Police

Adam-HamblinDES MOINES, Iowa – Police in Des Moines say a suspect in two robberies has turned himself in.

Adam Matthew Hamblin, 22, was wanted on two counts of first-degree robbery. He is accused of robbing the Git n Go, located at 100 Watrous Avenue, on January 19 and the Perkins Restaurant, located at 2425 East Euclid, on January 23.

Police said Hamblin displayed a handgun during both robberies and pointed it at one of the victims.

Police has asked the public to help locate Hamblin, but he surrendered to police Friday.
