AMES, Iowa - A second half surge helped #14 Iowa State cruise to a 79-59 win over #21 West Virginia Saturday afternoon.

After a back and forth first half, a 14-2 run in the second sealed it for the Cyclones.

Iowa State had five scorers in double digits.  Monte Morris was one point shy of his career high with 19 and Abdel Nader came off the bench to score 16.

At the other end, Jameel McKay tallied 5 blocks.

ISU's 20 point victory over West Virginia ties the school record for largest margin of victory over a ranked opponent.  The Cyclones have also won their last 21 games at home and their last 7 against ranked opponents at home.

For the first time in three weeks, ISU won't have a quick turnaround for a Big Monday game.  Instead, the Cyclones travel to Stillwater to face Oklahoma State on Wednesday night.  That game tips off at 8 p.m.
