DES MOINES, Iowa -- One of the metro's newest restaurant owners is being honored with a distinguished award for bringing diversity to Iowa's dining options.

Pamela Patton is one of only three restaurant owners in the country who will be honored with the "Faces of Diversity American Dream Award" from the National Restaurant Association.

She joined Channel 13's Andy Fales and Sonya Heitshusen on the News at Four on Friday.

I wondered that, too. Unfortunately journalism isn’t worth two bits anymore. Too many drunks out there I’m guessing;-). Reporters can’t speak or form a proper sentence. When they write articles they seem to have a lot of duh moments. Case in point here. Try an online search of the proprietor or the organization giving the award. That’s what I’m going to do.
