Cyclones Score 63 Second Half Points, Beat TCU 89-76

FORT WORTH – Iowa State needed a win over TCU to secure the 2-seed at next weeks Big 12 tournament and they got it.

The Cyclones trailed by 6 at the half, but scored 63 second half points and beat the Horned Frogs 89-76.

Georges Niang and Monte Morris each scored 19.  Bryce Dejean-Jones bounced back in a big way scoring 15 points.  Jameel McKay recorded another double double, 14 points 10 rebounds.

Iowa State shot 57% for the game.

ISU finishes the regular season 22-8 overall, 12-6 in the Big 12.

The Cyclones will face either Texas or Texas Tech on Thursday at the Big 12 tournament at 6pm.
