This weekend, 9 potential Republican presidential candidates hope to woo Bruce Rastetter and Iowa's agriculture community by showing they know more about farm life than just how to properly butter sweet corn.

Rastetter, a prominent Republican donor and wealthy agriculture and renewable fuels entrepreneur, hoped Democratic presidential contenders would come to the state for his first ever Iowa Ag Summit as well.  But they turned him down.

Joining Channel 13's Dave Price for the first time is Jessica Vanden Berg.  She is a Pella native who has worked for Christie Vilsack, Amy Klobuchar, Al Gore, Wesley Clark, the Iowa and North Carolina Democratic Parties... and a few others like Bono.

Recently, she had been heading former Virginia Senator Jim Webb's presidential exploration efforts in Iowa.  She is not now.  She discusses her current projects and why Democratic presidential candidates are skipping this Ag Summit (and Iowa for the most part) for now.
