Woodward Academy is a reform school for wayward teen boys who need re-direction. The Knights have received raves for their sportsmanship and all out play. Woodward is the first academy to reach state.

Woodward has a new roster every year, and since players come from all over Iowa and many other states, there wasn't much of a crowd expected beyond students and teachers, but Iowans being Iowans heard this, and rallied a big crowd for the game at state.
