Bryant Bounces Back, Cubs Win in Extra Innings

CHICAGO – After one of his worst days at the plate on Friday, Kris Bryant bounced back on Saturday to help the Cubs beat the Padres 7-6 in 11 innings.

Bryant went 2 for 3 with 3 walks and an RBI.  His RBI came in the 5th inning on a broken bat single to center.

Miguel Montero hit 2 homeruns for Chicago and Starlin Castro had the game winning hit in the 11th.

Chicago is now 6-4 on the year, 1 game back of St. Louis in the NL Central.
