Des Moines Medicap Pharmacy Robbed

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Des Moines police are looking for a suspect in a Tuesday morning pharmacy robbery.

It happened around 10:18 a.m. at the Medicap Pharmacy at 5802 Franklin Avenue. Only medications were taken during the robbery, according to the Des Moines Police Department.

Officials say the man showed a gun but didn't show his face. Witnesses say the suspect concealed his identity by putting a dark cloth over his face.

He was reportedly described as having a thin build and wearing tan pants. He was also wearing a gray sweatshirt and carrying a green back pack.
