DES MOINES, Iowa – Governor Terry Branstad released his 2014 tax return on Tuesday.

Governor Branstad and his wife Chris earned just over $191,000 in 2014. $120,000 came from their salary and another$54,000 in pension benefits from the governor's previous term.

The Branstads paid more than $20,000 in federal taxes and nearly $3,000 to the state. They also contributed $18,000 to their grandkids’ college savings plan and nearly $29,000 to charity.

Branstad’s state and federal refunds totaled $11,000.
