Former Lawmaker Found Not Guilty of Sexual Abuse

HANCOCK COUNTY, Iowa – A jury found former lawmaker Henry Rayhons not guilty of sexual abuse Wednesday.

Rayhons was initially charged after allegedly having sex with his wife at a nursing home, despite being told her advanced dementia left her unable to legally consent.

His wife passed away before he was charged.
