The weekly market in Colfax saw a heavy run of sheep this past Saturday, with no sale next weekend due to the Memorial Day holiday.

There were 955 head of sheep sold, with feeder lambs fetching the day’s high average price of $2.12 per pound. Fed lambs averaged $1.67 per pound.

Prices on the 46 head of goats ranged from $105 to $205 per head.
