DES MOINES - After a disappointing Drake Relays the Hoover boys 4X100 relay team bounced back at districts last week recording the 2nd fastest time in Class 4A.

The Huskies now head to the state track meet with a real shot of bringing home a state title.

The team consists of Seniors Jalen Horton, Evian Akers, Matt Schwarz, and Junior Mamoon Koko.

The 4X100 prelims are Friday afternoon, if Hoover qualifies with a top 8 time, they will run again on Saturday in the finals.
