Pleasant Hill Daycare Provider Facing Child Abuse Charges

PLEASANT HILL, Iowa - Charges have been filed against a Pleasant Hill woman accused child abuse while operating an in home daycare.

Christina Williamson, 28, has been charged with child endangerment of three children, willful injury and child neglect.

Investigators tell Channel 13 News they received a child abuse complaint about Williamson, a non-registered in home daycare provider.

Police reviewed surveillance footage from the home and identified three victims in the case. The families of the victims have been notified.

Williamson was arrested Wednesday morning. She is being held in the Polk County Jail on $5,000 bond.

The investigation into the case is ongoing.
