DES MOINES - Javier Baez is starting to find his swing. The hard-swinging I-Cubs (22-20) shortstop blasted a pair of solo homers today, his fourth and fifth this season, in a 7-4 series finale win over Tacoma this afternoon.

Baez finished 2-for-4 on the day, Arismendy Alcantara belted a solo homer for Iowa, and Christian Villanueva added four hits in the win.

A scary moment in the first inning for Iowa pitcher Donn Roach. The starter was struck in the leg on a comeback grounder off the bat of Tacoma's James Jones. Roach would have to be taken out of the game after facing just two batters.

Iowa hosts Reno tomorrow, 1:08 p.m. first pitch from Principal Park.
